Tourist bungalows run by the J&K Tourism Department are located in Chandigam, Lolab Valley. In Khumriyal village, there is an additional vacation bungalow. Although the locals invited us to stay at their place, we did not see any homestay facilities in Lolab Valley.

Road access to Gurez Valley is available from April through October. There is no other way to enter or exit the area except by helicopter from Srinagar or Bandipora between November and March, when the road becomes blocked.

If you were driving your own car, you could take the Mughal road or the standard Jammu–Srinagar highway to get to Srinagar.The Jammu-Srinagar highway is the busier of the two, but it is also the one that is better maintained and gets more traffic. Of the two, the Mughal road is the more picturesque and has very little traffic.

Anantnag is the closest train station, but there aren’t many options at the railhead. The better options are the Jammu Tawi Railway station (296 km) and the Srinagar railhead (98 km). Frequent buses, taxis, and cabs travel the route to Daksum from the railway station.
By Road
Smooth roads connect Daksum to its surroundings. As you cross the Achabal Mughal Gardens, the valley is on the Sinthan Top route, close to Kokernag Springs. The drive is approximately 98 kilometers from Srinagar.

Visits to Yusmarg are most enjoyable in April through June, September, and the first part of October.
It is nearly impossible to get to the location in January and February because it is still covered in snow. Unlike Gulmarg, this area does not clear the snow from the roads.
